GMB AKASH

“Sometimes the strongest women are the ones who love beyond all faults, who cry behind closed doors, and who fight battles that nobody knows about. This blog post is dedicated to honouring women who are living at the edge of the society and who continue their fighting to earn food and dignity but who rarely ever come into the world’s limelight. Even the society in which they are living has never appreciated their bravery. I have met with many of them, discovering up close how women have worked for the greater good and have brought about change in their families and society. This is a way to pay tribute to a mother, sister, wife, daughter, friend and the many roles a woman plays in her life. These personalities have taught me that nothing can kill the spirit of a woman and that is what makes her so incredibly beautiful” – GMB Akash

Don’t forget to ask for window seats they will happily offer you, and who would not like to have a window seat and fly above the great Mystical Mountains. They also have a range of magazines, which are actually good, you would get updated about the food, the festivities you might attend, and some small stories for fun.

on the flight and they pamper you with snacks throughout the journey. The quality of food and service in Business Class is exceptional. They think of every little thing and are always ready to help with a smile! The airport located 11 km from Kullu and 52 km away from Manali.

The countless farms of the surrounding country bloomed with deodars, walnut trees, and apple orchards, which is the main crop here.

Small grocery shops, a government school and a mix of wooden and concrete houses, all hugged by apple trees and the charms over here forces you to stop and see all around you. And if you are visiting through the season then Manali is flooded with visitors and yes traffic jams to…

Lovely houses of Himachal

Houses here are the traditional Himachali Architecture. Houses here a mix of stacked stones, logs, and roof which becomes a beautiful Natures house to live.

It’s like you fall in love with the place you live. Where there a huge space to live and for the cattle and animals place called obri

Traditional Food to Eat

During a stay for a week. we had the delicious food too, The special food here, people call it here as sidu (steamed bread stuffed with local seeds), and lota (a dosa-like breakfast dish) though we did not try lota. It’s better to have changed food for a week. like (badme gharpe to wahi roz wala khana hai) so, its fine to Taste the food wherever you Go.

 Things to Buy Local

You can buy Himachali outfits and handlooms from the Mall Road. we purchased some shawls here TRISHLA SHAWLS, they have their factory on the ground floor, they have the good and decent collection of shawls.

Best time to visit Manali for Solo – January, March, December, weather is most pleasant between March and May. Manali receives rainfall between June and August, which makes the roads slippery, through August is an apple-harvesting season. The temperature dips, from October-February with occasional snowfall. It’s cold, but views of the snow-capped peaks are finest at this time of year. Stay…

Stay at Manali is not so difficult. There are hotels and villas all over Manali at affordable prices.it’s actually worth to afford and live chilled.

We have been blogging for one year now. The only reason we started our blog was inspiration from GMB AKASH.

We used to follow him on social media, as everyone does. We never knew he would turn out to be an inspiration for us getting into this blogging world.

He is a photographer based in Bangladesh, his passion for photography began in 1996. Now he has come a long long way of 20 years of his life as a photographer

And he achieved more than 100 international awards and have been published in more than 100 publications. He is the light who finds beauty in ugliness, strength in fragility and love in the lost.

He looks around for the untold stories…

So basically, In his child age, he never stopped following his dreams. He kept on wandering for stories around him, some of his stories were, the gay who used to dance occasionally in the lobby, girls under the red lights and colors of human emotions. His writing and photography influenced us to involve the people and the view of incredible humans from different culture and background.

He moves from place to place, cities, and countries and always tries to bring changes with his images and stories into the world, he had to Run, take a ride on the roof of train, sleep on the flooded floor and spend many hours walking through the slums.

Sometimes it was difficult for him to travel, He traveled to more than fifty countries, but most importantly he traveled through thousands of streets, which lead him to his sort of content.

He never thought of himself, he just did what he loves to do, which is Photojournalism.

He is an inspiration to many including us…
