Foodie trip…

food1

As we travel, we have to make a lot of planning in finding out what to take and what not to, so, one of those packing lists is about food.

It is very difficult to travel without the essential things and gears we need and mainly Food, we like many recipes at home, but it’s not same with traveling. you have to waive off the food you like, which cannot be carried while traveling.

As you cannot take eggs with you all time traveling but you can buy it on your way.

And if …

you don’t get anything…, You can carry fruits, salads, and have sandwiches and all solid foods in your Backpack, to keep your journey fresh.

Though Traveling for food is an entirely new stream.

5 points you get when you travel.

1. You taste food that You’ve Never Tried Before.

2. A Country’s Food Tells You A Lot About Their Culture.

3. Food also helps you meet new people, conversation and make new friends. You Get to taste New Flavors and Dishes.

4. Going to new places and trying new dishes and experiencing new flavors.

5. You can have the best meal of your life by having street food. may be,

food 2

Different areas of the world have various new flavors and dishes that you would never even think of. Eating: It’s one of life’s great pleasures. And for travelers, it’s even more than that.

When you’re traveling, food isn’t just about taste and enjoyment, It’s about culture and experience. If you want to get the best food when you’re traveling, you need to know

1. look for Markets while traveling local markets is like your friend. which can buy you interesting food.

2. One important note: localites don’t always know everything and best

… 🙂

but sometimes, When you’re traveling, it’s a good idea to ask the localite for information on where and what to eat.

3. It’s okay to check out local food bloggers in your destination to get info on restaurants and markets and even sometimes offers % which will help you save some money.

As Benjamin Franklin said, “A penny saved is a penny earned?” One of the most famous Americans of his and our time. He held many titles, one of them is WORLD TRAVELER. you know what it means…

you have to taste a culture to understand it. lines by, Deborah Carter.

After all travel for food or food for travel, it starts with Travel. so, lets Pack, Travel and Eat…

Two Backpackers…

05

We travel initially, to lose ourselves, to find ourselves, to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than these newspapers publish and to see the life in a different perspective… but, later it became the daily routine of our life, we just need a thought to travel on.

Firstly we have to make some investment as of TIME, ADJUSTMENTS, CHOICES and very fewer people say about MONEY, Yes you have to invest in some money for Traveling

We think Travel is the best way we have for filling up the beauty of places in our eyes and saving them in our inner soul-memories, Knowing the local culture by eating treats and recipes that are unique to a particular region.

Real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new places but in seeing it with new eyes, we forget about our jobs, our classes, and all our other responsibilities. we travel to escape our routine lives and to move on to a different beat.

Travel in that sense. which guides us toward a better balance of perception and understanding — of seeing the world full of beauty.

The beauty of this whole process was best described by,

Christopher McCandless.

“don’t hesitate or allow yourself to make excuses, just get out and do it. You will be very glad that you did it”

Yet for us, the first great joy of traveling is simply the luxury of leaving all our beliefs and truths at home and seeing everything we thought we knew in a different gleam, and from a twisted angle.

So travel, at heart is just a quick way of keeping our minds mobile and awake.

we travel in large part in search of hardship — both of our own, which we want to feel, and which we need to see.

we travel to…

learn.

to discover

  to escape.

    make new friends.

  And new experience.

Experiences help to bring meaning to our lives. They truly shape and define us.

let’s backpack and wonder where the wifi is weak!!!

So tell us, what about you?

MUMBAI – The Gateway to one’s Dreams…

MUMBAI (01)

Mumbai/Bombay according to its recognition, the most popular city in India is Mumbai which is the gateway to one’s dreams. We were not too familiar with Mumbai.

On that day 28th of Jan 2018 we were very eager to hop on to the train as we planned from Pune junction, the train was ready to depart towards Mumbai which we had seen and heard in televisions, read in newspapers and published magazines. Yes, the facts about Mumbai!! As we got down the train at MUMBAI CST. (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus)

Mumbai CST (02)

Like everyone we too rushed towards the exit of the station, the Mumbai police were doing their duty checking… We were having a bit of fear that this was the first time we had to visit Mumbai, Then we came across the Ticket Checker.

We spent some time over there… as always running Mumbai is the Heart of India. It’s full of wanderers and hardworking individuals, birds, artists, fisherfolks and millionaires, and lots and lots of people

It has India’s most rich film industry, some of Asia’s largest slums and the largest forest in a residential zone.

Mumbai city (03)

Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse, fashion hub and a point of religious tension.

The heart of the city contains some of the ancient era-architecture on the planet but if you explore a little more you’ll unfold unique bazaars, and India’s premier restaurants, the perfect combination of rich history, this city is known to have something for everybody. So, it’s no more a surprise that Mumbai is commonly known as

‘The City of Dreams’.

gate way of India (03)

A story of epic & A journey into the past.
My museum, started on 18th of may 2017, I showcased cycles around 100 years old,

A great response of people towards my collection of cycles and its variety.later Decided to collect different types of cycles with their unique and rare qualities and also collected cycles used by the british army during the second world war these british cycles had a speciality that they can be easily get fold and can be carried to the wanted destination.

Cycle_wala_1[1]
I have collected around 150 various types and same in the case with their accessories. collected antiques because they are beautiful,

“I love older things that people have used and cherished, they have

personality,character and soul”

I just wanted to create that happiness when the aged person of between 60 to 80 looks towards his memories back, back towards his Experience and Antique once again in their life.

I built this shop to preserve the old and golden memories…

BABA BASRI…

Baba Basari_01

I don’t want publicity in any kind, I am in search of Knowledge…

Music gives me peace of mind and keeps the people entertained.

I play the flute on the footpath while passing people listen to my music, and get entertained and get some amount of it, as praise.

I did not have a Job. so, I learned flute doing odd jobs like masonry, painting, cycle repairing and Even I sold guavas for some days, and Bhel too…

Baba Basari_02

I  was selling flutes and I was also playing one of them.  It was A bit surprising to me, one day A small girl came up to me, 100 rupees in her hand, stopped me and said, “Uncle Wait” I stopped, as I thought she might be wanted to purchase a Flute, so I started showing her the flute, She declined it, gave me 100 rupee note and pointed towards her Father. He waved at me and Complimented me on my Flute playing. and requested me to keep 100 rupee note with me.

I felt overwhelmed with the fact that was getting some Income without selling flutes, and by playing them. On that day I felt a Confidence Building in me, that I am able to play Flute…

I faced a lot of oppositions from my family when I used to practice, there were Extreme situations for a couple of times, I fought back, But multiple fights at home I realized there is no other way. took a decision and left Home without a single word only with my Basri.

Baba Basari_03

Initially, I started playing at Railway stations, Bus stands and then playing in trains…

my Family tried hard to find me, By sending letters, calling Relatives. they thought, Ultimately an Accident has finished me off… But not.

Everybody got emotional when I came home back after 2 months. they regretted fighting me, they felt sad about the things turned out!

I started playing  Flute again. At the place where I sit now All the shopkeepers and other small shops praise and liked my work. people request me to play their favorite song, and I play them. Everybody is happy with me.

This wish of mine is getting realized somewhere, and this constant Hunger of mine of learning something new from music Everyday is getting satisfied, which makes me Happy.

Baba Basari_04

My biggest dream is to become a Great MUSICIAN someday…
